Michael Schutzler

Michael Schutzler is the CEO of the Washington Technology Industry Association - serving 10,000 technology companies and 800,000 employees in the state of Washington. He is a successful chief executive and respected coach for CEOs, senior executives, and board members around the world. Michael developed a passion for and expertise in leadership and raising capital over the course of nearly 30 years in rapid growth, start-up, and turn-around ventures for companies including Oracle, Classmates, Monster, and Real Networks. As a successful Internet entrepreneur and angel investor, he has directly led or contributed to more than $50 Million in private equity financing for more than a dozen companies. Michael has served as a senior leader in public and private companies, non-profit, and public service organizations. He holds an MBA in Finance and Economics from the Simon School of Business at University of Rochester and a BS in Electrical Engineering from Pennsylvania State University.
