Andrew Shuttleworth

As of 2023, Andrew Shuttleworth is Head of Business Development at Obayashi Corporations Asia Digital Lab in Singapore. Andrew's first entry into the web venture world was in 2004 with a Concepci, a small venture behind the (now defunct) Tabemo Dining Club real-time restaurant mobile and PC web discount coupon service. He then ran his own consulting business and during that time co-founded Tokyo 2.0 - the largest startup community in Tokyo at the time. He later moved to Apple and worked there for 9 years before moving back into the scale-up world with Cloud Ace, a Japan headquartered company providing consulting and solutions for Google Cloud, followed by a period at Agorize, a open innovation platform and services company. He spent the first 18 years of his career in Japan and speaks fluent Japanese and moved to Singapore in 2017. He currently mentors startups in Singapore and is an investor in a company providing diagnostics for the early detection and prediction of human cancers.
