Patrick Butler is the Chief Product Officer of Talent Inc., the personal branding destination for all career-driven professionals. Through their network of skilled and experienced writers, Talent Inc.’s resume brands — TopResume in the U.S. and CVNow in Europe — write and analyze millions of resumes, CVs, and LinkedIn profiles each year, throughout the world. He co-founded the company in 2012 and is based in its New York City headquarters. In 1994, Patrick launched the first fantasy basketball site from his college dorm room, which he segued into his first start-up and rebranded as Sports.ws in 2001. Serving more than 5 million teams, it ultimately was acquired by digital magazine, The Good Point. Additionally, Patrick served as CTO at Cybernet Ventures, which developed Adult Check, the world’s first and largest online age-verification system that ranked in the top 100 most-trafficked websites. Patrick holds an MBA from the University of Oxford’s Said Business School and a BA in mathematics and computer science from Wesleyan University, where he captained the cross-country and track and field teams. A talented musician, he was a founding member of power-pop band, The Solids, which charted in Rolling Stone magazine and performed the theme songs to FOX’s "Oliver Beene" and CBS’ "How I Met Your Mother." In his spare time, he created and also maintains BeerMile.com, the governing body for the burgeoning professional sport.
