Asif Khan

Asif Ahamed Khan Shurid, born on 2nd November 1996, is a Bangladeshi music composer and singer. Also known as Asif Khan or simply Asif, his songs have been featured in various albums and on television channels. He achieved the first runner-up position in Machranga Television's Valobashi Bangladesh - 2013. Additionally, he has received numerous Rising Youth Male Singer Awards from various national organizations. His hometown is Comilla. His father, Md. Anisuzzaman Khan, and mother, Mrs. Lutfun Nahar Rekha, blessed him with a younger brother named Abid Ahmed Khan Shupto. In 2020, Asif Khan tied the knot with Mrs. Sumaiya Alam Nijhum, and together they have a daughter named Amirah Asif Khan. Education He was a student and completed his SSC from Jatrabari Ideal School & College (2003-2012). Later, he pursued his HSC at Dr. Mahbubur Rahman Mollah College (DMRC) (2012-2014). His university journey took place at North South University from 2015 to 2020, where he successfully obtained his BBA degree in 2020. Music Career Asif Khan commenced his musical journey by taking preliminary lessons at Srijon Lalitakala Academy from 2007 to 2012, where his first teacher was Ustad Masood Rana. Upon graduating from this music institution, he continued his advanced music education under the guidance of Ustad Masood Rana at the teacher's home. In 2012, Asif expanded his musical skills by learning guitar from Afsar Khokan, with mentorship provided by Amit Shikder. Asif Khan achieved the position of 1st runner-up in the 2013 reality show for patriotic songs named 'Machranga Television Valobashi Bangladesh. Asif Khan released his first solo album, titled 'Tumi K?,' from G-Series in 2016. The album featured 6 solo and 2 duet songs, with Sabrina Nowshin Tushi and Jannat Omi as his co-artists. The music for the album was composed by Mahbubul Alam Shohel, and the audio mix was mastered by Romel Hasan. Additionally, Asif Khan serves as the theme songwriter, composer, and lead vocal artist at Dr. Mahbubur Rahman Mollah College. Currently, he regularly performs on various audio albums, television channels, social media, and various platforms.
