Samir Housri

Samir Housri the CEO & Co-founder of theMednet. Under his leadership theMednet has become the largest online physician network in Oncology and one of the fastest growing in medicine. Samir's career spans nearly 20 years in digital media that spans operations, technology and strategy. Most recently he was part of the investment team at Rho Ventures where he sat on multiple boards and deployed over $50M in capital. Prior to that, he was part of EMI Music's global business development team where he drove the launch of EMI's ad-supported video platform. He was also involved in all aspects of digital content licensing and distribution, including contract negotiations, technical implementation and monetization. Prior to EMI, Samir served as a management consultant with Bain & Company where he worked on strategy for technology and media clients. He started his career as a software engineer for Major League Baseball and was a key member of the team that built MLB.com.
