David Dorsey

David Dorsey is a Partner at 11.2 Capital. Before joining 11.2 Capital, David was a Principal at Osage University Partners (OUP), where he invested in university spinouts and developed relationships with founders working on cutting-edge research in machine learning, data, and advanced computing. Before OUP, he was a lead engineer at Lockheed Martin's Advanced Technology Labs (ATL) where he served as principal investigator for DARPA programs applying ML to RF spectrum applications. While at Lockheed, he collaborated with university labs and industry partners to design, develop, and pursue transition opportunities for early concept technologies. David holds a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering and a B.S.. degree in Computer Engineering from Drexel University, where he serves on the Innovation Advisory Board. He lives in Philadelphia with his wife and twin daughters and surfs every chance he gets. David lives in Philadelphia with his wife Renee and twin daughters.
