Sofoklis Kyriazakos

Sofoklis Kyriazakos graduated Athens College school in 1993 and obtained a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering in RWTH Aachen, Germany in 1999. Then he moved to the National Technical University of Athens, where he obtained his Ph.D. and MBA degree in Techno-economic systems in 2003 and 2005 respectively. In 2016 he founded Innovation Sprint and since that time he has been the CEO. Earlier in 2006, he founded Converge, a software integration company, which he led from the position as Managing Director and a BoD member until his exit in 2016. In-between he has also started a subsidiary in Canada (Converge Innovation Inc) that was active between 2012 and 2016. He has also served as a BoD member in other organizations, including Athens Information Technology, a Center of Excellence for Research and Education, Chief Innovation Officer in Meet-Magento Association and since 2022 he is member of EO Greece. Sofoklis has been an Associate Professor in the University of Aalborg and University of Aarhus in Denmark from 2005 until 2023, focusing on ICT, Innovation Management, Entrepreneurship and he has published more than 100 publications in international conferences, journals, books and standardization bodies with more 400+ citations (h-index 20).
