Peter Munzig

Peter Munzig is a Partner at TPG. Peter Munzig focuses on investments in the Internet & Technology and Business Services sectors. He is based out of General Atlantic's Palo Alto office. Mr. Munzig is a director of General Atlantic’s investment in CLEAResult, and is a board observer of the firm’s investments in Box and Appirio. In addition Mr. Munzig is closely involved with General Atlantic’s investments in ServiceSource, Bazaarvoice and IPValue. Mr. Munzig first joined General Atlantic in 2005, where he was an associate in the Palo Alto office. Mr. Munzig returned to General Atlantic after receiving his M.B.A. at Stanford's Graduate School of Business. During business school he worked in the UK with one of General Atlantic's portfolio companies, Torex, on a range of strategic and operational initiatives. Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Munzig was an investment banker with Goldman Sachs & Co., where he focused on advising clients in the Industrial, Consumer, and Technology sectors on a wide range of M&A and corporate finance transactions. Mr. Munzig holds an M.B.A. from Stanford's Graduate School of business and a B.A. in Economics from Stanford University, where he graduated with honors in 2003.
