Mike Leurdijk

Michael Leurdijk joined Core Capital in 2008 and focuses on early- and growth-stage investments in the cyber-security, data analytics, mobile and related technology sectors. He provides support in deal sourcing, due diligence, portfolio management, and valuation. Previously, Mr. Leurdijk spent six years as a consultant to Paul Capital Partners, a San Francisco-based secondary private equity firm. At Paul Capital, he was responsible for valuations related to the firm’s $5B pool of direct and fund investment assets. In addition, he provided investment management services for a $30M pool of technology company investment assets. Prior to Paul Capital, Mr. Leurdijk spent five years as Chief Financial Officer for Riggs Capital Partners, a Washington, D.C.-based early-stage technology-focused venture capital fund and fund-of-funds. He was responsible for the accounting and financial management of the $130M fund. Earlier in his career, Mr. Leurdijk worked as a manager for the Center for Strategic and International Studies. Mr. Leurdijk is active with the Private Equity CFO Association. He has an M.B.A from the University of Maryland and a B.A. from American University. He lives with his two children in Arlington, Virginia.
