Alok Sama

Alok Sama is President & CFO of SoftBank Group International (“SBGI”) where he is responsible for the core finance activities as well as proprietary investments and investor relations. He is also responsible for Corporate Development and M&A for SoftBank Group. Alok has over 30 years of investment banking, capital market and investment experience. Previously he was a senior Managing Director at Morgan Stanley, leading the firm’s communications practice in Europe and the TMT practice in the Asia-Pacific region. He also co-founded Baer Capital Partners, an alternative asset management firm. Alok is currently a Director of ARM Holdings, Fortress Investment Group, SoftBank Group Capital, SoFi, SoftBank Energy, Brightstar Corp and Baer Capital Partners. He graduated (with Distinction) from The Wharton School with an MBA in Finance, and holds a BA(Honors)in Mathematics from St. Stephen’s college.
