Ed Phillips

Ed was part of the founding team at Future Planet Capital, the impact-led, global VC firm built to invest in growth companies from the world's top universities. He has led investments across Health, Climate and Sustainable Growth including notable companies such as: Vaccitech (Oxford/AZ Vaccine / NASDAQ:VACC), Captura (Ocean CDR) and PragmatIC (Semiconductors). Ed helped build Future Planet to become the first institutional VC to open its GP to the public, and now leads their global ventures team and their Ocean investment strategy. He graduated with 1st Class Honors in Biology from Bristol, where he was President of the Think society and finished joint first for the Liv Sidse Jansen Prize for his work into the impact of Climate Change on marine ecosystems.
