Romain Grimal

Romain Grimal is an Investment Manager in the Venture team at BlackFin. He joined the firm in 2017. Romain started his career in Venture Capital in 2014 as part of the Munich-based team of XAnge Private Equity for a one-year tenure. Focusing solely on the German-speaking market in Europe, he gained exposure to various sectors with FinTech being one of the core topics under investigation. He was involved in several due diligence processes that led to investments later on. After an experience in small and midcap M&A in Paris, Romain joined BlackFin Capital Partners at the beginning of 2017 to help unearth the next European FinTech success stories. A French national, Romain is a graduate from HEC Paris.
