Wayne Holman

Wayne Holman is the Founder and CEO of Ridgeback Capital, and Co-Chair of the Ridgeback-Merck Molnupiravir Joint Steering Committee. He is also the co-founder of Ridgeback Biotherapeutics, the biotechnology company that he built together with his wife, Wendy. Dedicated to helping those in need, Dr. Wayne Holman has donated funds to hundreds of public and private biopharmaceutical companies aimed at facilitating medicinal research and advancing health care. Dr. Wayne Holman, who graduated from NYU School of Medicine and earned a degree in economics from Yale University, serves as a member of the NYU Langone Board of Trustees and the University of Miami Board of Trustees. He is also a Clinical Professional of Medicine at NYU Langone Health. He and his wife reside in Miami, together with their four children.
