Paulo Caldeira

Founder of the SMART TRAVELER movement, Paulo Caldeira was born in April 1969 in Minho, a beautiful green region in the north of Portugal. At this moment he is Official Expert for Culture and Tourism at EACEA. After 25 years working as a journalist, he completed a Degree in Cultural Management and a MsC in Tourism, Development and Innovation and is a member of several insitutions like WFTA, Ecotourism Society, Tourism Society, Europa Nostra, Internet Society, IFITT, ETOA and International Bloggers Association, among others. Expert on Digital Cultural Media, he is a certificied trainer, translator of apps for Mobile Devices, freelance editor at Reedsy, certified Ambassador of World Food Travel Association for Portugal, Ambassador of Instagram ltd. and Maxthon ltd. for Portugal.
