Purvi Shah

As a founding member, partner and CFO at defy, I am responsible for everything that falls under operations. It has been incredible to be at defy since the early days when Fund I was raised and have known and worked with the team for over 15 years. What makes my job so dynamic and unique is that I get to wear many different hats in a dynamic environment that supports great founders and companies. Before joining the firm, I worked at General Catalyst for 11 years as a fund controller. Prior to that, I worked in mutual funds at both Investors Bank and Trust and State Street Research. In my spare time, I love to take spin classes, read and spend time with my husband and two kids.
