• In charge of raising capital for startups that the company is incubating and accelerating, as well as mergers and acquisitions. • Advising & consulting startups & companies on raising capital • Advise the board and carry out tasks assigned by the board. • Oversee daily financial operations, planning, and events, working closely with company managers/coordinators. I have been active in the investment and securities industry for over 35 years. I was a Certified Financial Planner and received a designation from the College of Financial Planning in Denver Colorado. While I was in the Securities Industry, I was a member of the Financial Planning Association in Hawaii. I was CEO of Hawaii Financial Specialist, Inc. for nearly 20 years and co-founder of Wealth Managing Partners, Inc. up until June of 2011 when I co-founded Leverage Partners, LLC. I was also co-founder and Vice President of Leverage Property Group, Inc. I am the founder of Asa Leverage Management, a company that does management, budget efficiency and capital raise consulting for small and start-up companies. I have always had a passion for entrepreneurial ventures, and seeing the success of companies with new and innovative products and services. I am the founder of Island Angels Investment Group that funds startups during seed stage and growth stage. Currently on 2 Board seats and 2 Advisors Seats. My past business experience includes being the President of Writer-Schlegel Corporation, a Holding Company for an Investment Banking Securities Broker-Dealer involved in (IPO’s) Initial Public Offerings, (PPM’s) Private Placement Memorandums, and Venture Capital, as well as other Capital Funding programs. I was a former board member of Intellicard International, Inc, and co-founder of Robert James & Associates, a public relations firm for publicly traded companies in the United States and Canada and the former Asset Planning Manager for First Hawaiian Bank.
