Richard Leaver

Richard has an extensive and successful track record in venture capital, having served as CEO at Blue Star Capital plc and of an offshore defence fund. This followed 5 years as a Fund Manager at Chord Capital where he and his colleagues managed aggregate assets of over £25m plus corporate investment. He has invested and successfully exited investments from 4 funds in a diverse range of technology sectors. Formerly a consultant following 11 years with BAE Systems in R&D. He holds a Ph.D. in Artificial Intelligence from Durham University as well as MBA, C.Eng., MIET and MIEEE.
