Alex Gemici is an accomplished professional in finance. Mr. Gemici has extensive experience in business development, mergers and acquisitions, capital placement, commercial and residential real estate, and asset management. He has worked at numerous mortgage banking firms and prior to his current positions, he served as Managing Director and the Head of Deutsche Bank’s real estate finance, mortgage origination, trading and warehouse lending businesses in the Middle East and Africa. Alex Gemici is now at the forefront of Middle Eastern capital opportunities. As the Founding Partner of Greenstone Equity Partners, he oversees the firm's relationship with a diverse clientele spanning the GCC, including Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia and more. He credits his experience with Deutsche Bank for sparking his interest in the sector; he lived in Dubai for years during his management roles for Middle East and Africa. Seeing the advances in technology and observing the high-potential financial market in Dubai, Alex Gemici was inspired by his international experience to transform the practices in the region to look more like the Western-based practices we are used to. As a result, Greenstone Equity Partners is now the largest fund placement firm in the Middle East!
