Cedric Crocker

Cedric Crocker is Managing Partner at Sage Partners, a venture advisory firm. He works with seed and pre-seed companies across sectors, with a focus on media, digital learning, talent development (recruitment through coaching and executve development), and content-driven tech businesses in the US and UK. Crocker advises and/or has invested in Humanly.io, Relish (TryRelish.com), Illume (illumeapps.com), AthenaOnline.com, EvolveCareers.com, Learnswell.io, and Sempro.nl, among others. He was co-founder of Flerish, focused on wellness and human flourishing via AI to support for individuals and organizations - now shuttered but a superb learning experience. His corporate work was with Wiley, a global professional learning and education company, where he ran business development in EMEA & Asia and was head of global leadership & training products; and in senior roles at CBS/Paramount, The Compage Company, and Cengage. His pro bono work includes serving as a mentor to early stage entrepreneurs for the Berkeley Haas Entrepreneurship Program (BHEP), StartOut, and Holland in the Valley. He has served on the boards of the European Learning Industry Group (ELIG) and Common Purpose, a UK charitable trust. He was also the District Chair, Europe/Middle East/Africa for the UC Berkeley Alumni Association Leadership Award and has served as a judge on pitch competitions for various programs at UC Berkeley, Draper University, and other similar programs. Cedric lives in San Francisco and divides his time between there and London.
