Jennifer McClure is a business leader, advisor, board member and investor with expertise in digital, communications and marketing, growth and M&A, and extensive experience in the media and technology industries at public and private companies, family-owned companies, and nonprofit organizations. She is a founding Limited Partner of Spike Ventures, an AVG fund, where she has served on the Investment Committee. She is also a founding Limited Partner of How Women Invest, which is dedicated to disrupting the unequal investment in women-owned ventures; a Limited Partner of Portfolia, the world’s largest community of women investors and Off the Grid Ventures, which focuses on foreign and women founders of early-stage companies who are typically under-funded by traditional investors. Jen is a Boardwise instructor, certified board member, Qualified Risk Director®, National Association of Corporate Directors (NACD) Governance Fellow, and a member of Women Corporate Directors, Private Directors Association, Digital Directors Network, The Lodis Forum and Stanford Women on Boards, which she chaired for two years. Jen holds a master’s degree from Stanford University, B.A. from Sarah Lawrence College and a graduate certificate in History, Politics and Society from the University of Oxford’s Exeter College.
