Katrin Suess is the co-founder, CTO and ‘mother’ of Vimily. Originally from Germany, Katrin has worked as a web designer and front-end developer for the last 8 years. Obsessed with entrepreneurship and she has run her own company since 2008, working as the leading UI designer for many recent start-ups in Australia and Germany, including 99dresses, ScriptRock and BlueChilli. Between 2010-2011 Katrin co-founded and built ZeroMail. Katrin and Matt Barnett also co-founded and remain advisors for Bleebook – now run by Blue Chilli. As CTO of Vimily, Katrin is responsible for all development of Vimily, the recruitment and management of the additional developer team, and all additional technical aspects of the service. Katrin holds a Diploma in Marketing, BA in Online Journalism and MA in Design Innovation (Interactive Design) with Distinction. Katrin can’t get enough of creative people and coffee. She also likes to paint and makes her own music.
