Simon Chan

Simon Chan is the Managing Partner of Firsthand Ventures. He was the co-founder and CEO of PredictionIO which was acquired by Salesforce to become the Einstein platform. He then served as a product executive launching core AI platform initiatives in the company. Simon has years of startup investment experience through his own capital as well as with a number of VC firms. He is also an LP in multiple funds. Simon holds a B.S.E degree in Computer Science from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor and a Ph.D. degree in Machine Learning from University College London.
