Matthias Metternich

Matthias Metternich is a German-American entrepreneur based in Los Angeles and the CEO and Co-Founder of Art of Sport. Matthias' work has been backed by notable venture capitalists including Lightspeed Venture Partners, Greylock Partners and Index Ventures and featured in NYT, LA Times, NBC, Forbes, Techcrunch, Wired, FT, BBC, WWD, and Business Insider. Prior to Art of Sport, Matthias was the Founder and CEO of COCODUNE, a vertically integrated direct-to-consumer e-commerce company and Believe.in, an Enterprise Software company offering payment processing, CRM and marketing automation technology to customers in the US, UK, IE, ZA and AU. Matthias was also a Client Partner at AKQA in London and Managing Partner at Poke where he developed new products and platforms for L'Oreal, Barclays, XBox, Skype, American Express, ING Bank and Virgin. Matthias is a graduate from UCLA and the Humboldt University in Berlin.
