Brian Model

Mr. Model is responsible for the overall operations of Stonehenge Growth Equity Partners, including sourcing, underwriting and executing the firm’s growth equity investments. Mr. Model is located in the New York office of Stonehenge Growth Equity Partners and has made investments in twelve growth stage businesses located in New York. Brian Model has twelve years of operating experience as a retail executive and entrepreneur responsible for both online and physical retail locations throughout the country. Mr. Model currently serves on the Board of Directors of Clerio Vision, Critical Mention (observer), eHealth Technologies, Firsthand (observer), Lumetrics, Omni-ID, Selvera, SpinCar, TicketIQ, YPrime (observer), and GTR Global Meetings and Technology. He previously served on the Board of Directors of Knovel (observer), Medidata Solutions (observer) and iCardiac Technologies (observer). Mr. Model is active in the regional venture investing community, serving as the president and past board member of the Upstate Venture Association of New York (UVANY) and co-chairman of the Columbia Business School Alumni Club of New York’s Ventures Committee. Mr. Model speaks at events sponsored by Columbia Business School, the Business Council of New York, YoungStartup Ventures, FundingPost, and the Long Island Capital Alliance. Mr. Model has served as a judge or Advisory Board Member for business plan competitions and venture financing events sponsored by the Empire State Venture Group, UNYTECH, SIIA (Software & Information Industry Association), NY Venture Summit, The Wharton School, and Columbia Business School. In addition, Mr. Model serves and is a mentor for Columbia Business School’s Lang Fund. Mr. Model received his undergraduate degree in Economics from Duke University and has an MBA with Honors from Columbia Business School.
