Jon Brilliant serves as Chief Financial Officer of WellDoc, overseeing the company’s finance, legal and regulatory matters. Prior to joining WellDoc, Brilliant was one of three partners who launched the Atelier Fund, a private equity fund focused on the luxury goods marketplace in early 2006. Prior to Atelier, Brilliant was the managing director for the U.S. operations of Syntek Capital AG, a €400 million European private equity fund with offices in Munich, Milan, London and Tel Aviv which invested in media and technology. Before joining Syntek, Brilliant was director of business development at Harrods in London where he was responsible for worldwide business development, strategy and eCommerce, as well as overseeing aspects of the personal portfolio of private companies of the Harrods' owner. Brilliant was the Chief Web Officer of JM Family Enterprises, Inc., currently one of the 20 largest privately held companies in the United States with over $12 billion in revenue. In this role, he was responsible for overall Internet strategy and development. In addition to holding a board of director position at WellDoc, Brilliant also sits on the boards of ADAM, Harrys of London, Kaenon, Avelle and Portero. He also previously served on the board of directors of WildBrain, C2Media and eCommLink. Brilliant holds a bachelor’s degree from The Pennsylvania State University and a graduate degree from Duke University. He is the father of a type 1 diabetic child.
