Brogan Brogan Bambrogan co-founded Hyperloop Technologies, Inc. in 2014 and served as its Chief Technology Officer until June 2016. Brogan Bambrogan served as an Interim Chief Executive Officer of Hyperloop Technologies, Inc. until September 16, 2015. Brogan Bambrogan was an early team member at SpaceX where he saw firsthand the power of a truly bold vision. He is proud to have been part of a team that put rockets into orbit, delivered goods to and from the International Space Station, and is on its way to radically advancing human spaceflight. As Sr. Staff Engineer of Propulsion he played a critical role in some of the most difficult technical challenges faced by the company. He had primary design responsibility for Kestrel, the upper stage engine of the Falcon 1 rocket. He led the early design of the Dragon spacecraft, including detailed work on the Draco thrusters and primary heat shield. He provided significant support for many projects, including; full Dragon Thermal Protection System (TPS), zero gravity prop tank design, thermal imaging, Dragon escape thruster layout, advanced engine conceptual design, and an ultra-low cost thrust chamber design effort. All of this work included hands-on support in every phase of design, analysis, fabrication, vendor & schedule management, development testing, assembly, and integration on the final launch vehicle or spacecraft. He worked in many diverse groups of TRW Space Systems (now part of Northrop Grumman). Brogan Bambrogan designed & developed many technologies, including Microwave Monolithic Integrated Circuits (MMICs), solar arrays for the GeoLite spacecraft, early work on the deployable antennae & heat shield of the James Webb Space Telescope, an alternate-propellant version of the Space Shuttles RCS thrusters, and the exhaust gas recovery system for AirBorne Laser (ABL). Brogan Bambrogan worked at Chrysler for 2 years as an engineer on the sheet metal structure of the Dodge Ram. Brogan Bambrogan has a BSME from Kettering University in Flint, MI.
