Jason Kiesel

Jason embarked on his entrepreneurial journey at the tender age of 10 when he started selling his family's homegrown Valencia oranges to a nearby breakfast diner in his hometown of Escondido, California. Since then, his career has taken me through diverse fields, including athletic training during my undergraduate years at UCLA, software development, founding and leading a govtech SaaS software company to multiple exits, and now building the future of independent feature film production. Regardless of the domain, his unwavering passion lies in solving problems. Jason is currently the Founder & CEO of Packed House Pictures. Prior to this, he served as the Chief Strategy Officer for Rock Solid Technologies, the leading CRM and civic engagement platform connecting citizens with local government services. Rock Solid, which was acquired by Granicus in October 2022, was headquartered in Austin, Texas and served customers across Latin America, the Caribbean, and North America. He joined the company in April 2019 following the merger of Rock Solid with CitySourced, a company he founded and led for almost a decade. He counts himself fortunate to have been part of the technology industry since 1997, with clients that included industry giants such as Microsoft, MySpace, Transamerica, Universal, and Disney before CitySourced officially launched at TechCrunch50 in 2009. Currently residing in Austin, Texas, Jason enjoys traveling, fishing, and working with other startups and companies.
