Marie Gabrielle Arisme Laguna

Dr. Marie Gabrielle Laguna is a board-certified specialist in Internal Medicine (Philippines), a certified digital marketing consultant/search engine optimization (SEO) specialist, and a medical app developer. She was chosen as one of the 20 Global Thought Leaders in Health Informatics and Interoperability by Intrepid Now and Velocity Health Informatics in 2017. She has more than 15 years of experience in content development outsourcing. Prior to joining Eternus Global, she has worked as a clinical research investigator for INA Research, a global contract research organization specializing in animal and human food and drug research. She is the author of two college textbooks, “Pharmacology for Allied Health Professions, First Edition 2017” and "Essentials of Medical Terminology, (2018)". Dr. Gabs started writing for print magazines in 1997 (at 17 years old) and started writing SEO content in 2003. She is also the Founder/ CEO of Gebix Pharma Marketing, a pharma retail and distribution company in Iloilo, Philippines, and a medical consultant for some government and private hospitals in Iloilo, Philippines. Her main interests include clinical trial design and data analysis, e-communities health development, medical software development and artificial intelligence (AI) systems in the marketing industry. She graduated BS Medical Technology from University of San Agustin (licensed), her Doctor of Medicine from Iloilo Doctors College of Medicine (licensed) and proceeded later to take up Masters in Pharmacology (University of the Philippines Manila) and Master in Community Health Development (ongoing). She is an international regular member of the American Society of Pharmacology and Experimental Therapeutics (ASPET).
