Max Maendler

Max Maendler, Founder of lehrermarktplatz.de and Regis24.de, is a Berlin based Entrepreneur and Business Angel. In 2015, together with Dominik Dresel, Max founded lehrermarktplatz.de, a marketplace where teachers buy and sell teaching resources. Before that, together with Martin Specht, he founded Regis24, a leading German provider of Customer Contact and Credit Rating Solutions. Having bootstrapped his first company in 2003 and grown it to over 100 employees, he now is convinced that entrepreneurial success comes from a healthy mixture of overestimating one's capabilities, perseverance and sheer luck. He has served on the Advisory Boards of Sofatutor.com and SavingGlobal.com and as the Regional Director Europe of the Entrepreneurs' Organization EO. Max studied Politics and Literature at the London School of Economics and at Sciences-Po Paris. He still hasn't completely given up the dream that one day he will write a novel. He was born in Karlsruhe where his parents and sister taught him that love is unconditional and that decoration is the work of the devil. He is a happy family man and a decent cook. He says he has no idea where he's going, but he knows he's on the right way.
