Trang Nguyen is the Founder and General Partner of AGI House Residency/ Ventures, a leading AI-native startup accelerator dedicated to fostering an ecosystem that accelerates humanity’s transition to artificial general intelligence. Backed by prominent technology visionaries—including Eric Schmidt (former CEO of Google), Marc Andreessen, Rich Miner (co-founder of Android and GV), Adam D’Angelo (founder of Quora), and Sebastian Thrun (founder of Google’s self-driving car project and Udacity). AGI House early members include generative AI startups, such as Perplexity, Pika Labs, Martian, and Coframe. She is also co-founder of Novi, AI Co-founder (usenovi.com) Trang co-founded Transpose Platform, a pioneering venture capital firm she launched in 2015. Transpose backs breakthrough venture structures and next-generation founders in 2015. Under her leadership, the firm has helped launch more than a dozen venture studios and disruptive platforms, investing in over 150 startups and contributing to more than $900 billion in enterprise value. Notable investments include Entrepreneur First, Y Combinator, HF0, South Park Commons, AccuRx, Groq, Wayve, Xanadu, Kosli, Sendbird, Openhome, Hubble Network, Moneyview, Drip Capital, April Tax, Gorgias, Mezmo, Generation Lab, Standard Cognition, Truepill, Foundation Health, Owner and Talkdesk. Trang held executive and product leadership roles at Trusted Insight, an AI-powered investment platform backed by Founders Fund and the Stanford Endowment. There, she scaled strategy and product efforts, building a community of over 30,000 limited partners (LPs). She has also served as interim CEO for a Transpose-backed portfolio company. Earlier in her career, Trang led investments for Sutter Health, managing a $9 billion portfolio, and held key roles at Merrill Lynch, Visa, and BNY Mellon, bringing a strong foundation in both institutional investment and technology.
