Julie Silvester

Julie is responsible for management of the Seed Fund and EIS Fund and new fund development. In addition she has overall responsibility for FSE’s angel activities. Julie has made a number of seed fund investments particularly in the digital media sector and has sat on the board of a large number of Seed Fund investee companies. Julie has over 10 years city-based experience of leveraged and corporate finance (mainly private equity deals) with NatWest Markets and Hawkpoint Partners. Julie has a BSc Honours degree in Money, Banking and Finance from the University of Birmingham. Julie is approved by the Financial Conduct Authority. Mother of two busy children. In unexpected moments of spare time Julie enjoys going to the theatre, good food, open air swimming and cycling.
