Peter Rowan

Peter is a Strategy Advisor in the Green Economy and have been working in climate crisis policy, mitigation, adaptation and risk management for over 20 years. Peter has taken on ever-increasing responsible roles over his career for clients such as the United Nations agencies, The World Bank, European Commission and national governments. These roles have been focussed on building his skills in strategic advising on climate change finance, energy policy, environmental policies, energy markets and electrification strategic development. He developed his core skills, initially, at the European Commission Representation in the UK and further enhanced them while working in strategy research it in the investment banking industry at both Cazenove/JPMorgan and Commerzbank AG in London. This same skill-set has been developed and upgraded to meet current needs and to go beyond the state of the art since. His Specialities include Climate Crisis Finance, Green Bonds, Green Economy development, Strategic thinking, leadership, climate Mitigation, climate Adaptation, Climate Resilience, Energy (including Renewable Energy), Geopolitics, Government policy (International Boundary Negotiations) and project financing/finance, PPP, Circular Economy policy.
