Paul Griffiths is the CEO of Dubai Airports, in charge of the operation and development of Dubai International (DXB), the world's busiest international airport, as well as Dubai World Central (DWC). In October 2007, Paul became the first CEO of Dubai Airports. Paul was essential in the faultless launch of Terminal 3 at DXB on October 14, 2009, and the successful opening of the Emirate's second airport, DWC, on June 27, 2010. On 2 January 2013, he opened Concourse A, the world's first purpose-built A380 facility, and on February 24, 2016, he opened Concourse D, another milestone in Dubai's aviation history. Paul was also in charge of the opening of the DWC passenger terminal on October 27, 2013. On December 20, 2018, Paul joined HH Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, Chairman of Dubai Airports, in welcoming DXB's billionth passenger.
