Anurag Rastogi Rising Star on the Horizon Some read history and some create history. FolkTales takes immense pleasure in introducing people who break the norms, rise from the herd mentality and break free to explore new horizon of life. They break the norms, they take risks to live a life of their dreams and no doubt emerge a winner in the game of life. Anurag Rastogi, is one such example. Managing Director of Aeonaxis Softech, he is alum of CMS Rajendra Nagar. A graduate in engineering with Bachelor of Technology [B-Tech] in Computer Science from UP Technical University in 2005 he alongside also did his MBA in IT, from Symbiosis College. Anurag took life as it came. His career had quite a stint in the corporate world. He started his career in a small firm where he worked without any remuneration for a period of 9 months. It was kind of an internship where he was getting himself trained and gearing up for the future. It was probably the toughest phase of his life and even though he had to through a lot, he never gave up. He is one person who believes in hard work more than anything else. Anurag also believes that whatever happens happens for good and it not only makes him strive for better. The struggling career days laid a strong foundation for him to face the conundrum of life. Anurag went on to join the Uttar Pradesh State Information Commission as an Assistant Programmer in 2006, a place that made him understand the work culture of government departments. Thereafter he joined a private IT firm as a Quality Assurance Engineer in 2007. He was a charmer and a hard worker, certainly a powerful combination and soon rose in ranks and became an indispensable resource to any organization he would work for. But by now Anurag, had also been bitten by the entrepreneurial bug and discovered his real passion and it was then that Aeon Technologies came into existence in 2011. Starting an enterprise like this was certainly not a cakewalk. There as lot of stress and professional challenges in the initial days. Unfortunately, it was also the time when his mother was battling a life threatening disease. Emotionally, mentally, professionally he was drained. There was also this pressure of breaking through norms and everyone would come up to him and tell what blunder it is to leave a good job and stat an uncertain business. Anurag never gave up. In India working professionals are not meant to take such big risks. But he was already determined and had gone a step ahead in his mission and vision. English was not his strength but he never let his Hindi interfere with English. He fought hard and never let his shoulders droop. He had full trust in his abilities and he toiled hard to fulfill all his personal, professional and entrepreneurial commitments. The rest, as we all know by now, is history. Anurag today stands rock-solid like a beaming sun and not only heads Aeonaxis Softech (P) Ltd (formerly Aeon Technologies) but is also managing various other ventures. He is also the founder-manager of KVASZ, an e-commerce platform that currently serves as an e-tailor for the Surat cloth market. He is also working as the official India partner of Study in South Africa (SiSA) and is co-founder of Page3 Star that covers social gatherings, across five Indian Tier-3 cities as Lucknow, Kanpur, Delhi, Mumbai and Kolkata. And yes that’s how I know him. The page3 connect in those days online media coverage was picking ground and I was planning to get Mundan Ceremony of my daughter covered by media house. Big names obviously don’t come easy. Page3 Star was starting up and gaining grounds and through Facebook I came to know about this organization. Facebook sure enough is synonym to my life book. Anurag’s initial venture is in its 5th year of successful running Today Aeonaxis Private Limited caters to the software needs of multiple businesses spread across the globe. On being asked about his plans, Anurag says, ‘a true entrepreneur is he, who sets benchmarks for generations that challenges the existing potential as well as gives inspiration to everyone who dreams of to stand out of the crowd’. He wants to include almost every metro city in his list of page3 star to show glamour and enthusiasm across social media.He wants to explore new heights in IT ventures through his hard work and make an even bigger name across the globe. Businesses flourish when people take a leap of faith and thus the overall portfolio of all the company he heads is on an exponential rise. Anurag's expertises include Build and release management, Project Management, Business Development, Requirement analysis, and Quality Assurance. He is a young and enterprising technological expert having diversified experience in Information Technology having spent his initial years to try diverse challenges to understand the diverse aspects of the business.
