Radhesh is amongst the most seasoned B2B investors in India who brings with him rich operational experience in the enterprise technology space. He is Managing Partner of Suvan Ventures, which is a venture fund focused on early stage B2B Indian cross-border SaaS companies (those which sell into global markets like US, Europe and Middle East but have development/ customer success/ marketing teams in India). Before Suvan Ventures, he co created Arka Venture Labs along with 3 Anchor investors in 2018 August with the objective of investing, mentoring, and providing connections to the ecosystem for B2B startups between India and US corridor. The fund has made 27 investments under his leadership with 5 exits so far and 16 uprounds (from the likes of B Capital, Insight Partners, Sequoia, Nexus, Lightspeed, Matrix, Uncorrelated, Samsung Next, Facebook). Besides investment Radhesh mentors his portfolio startups in various aspects of their businesses such as product, product market fit, GTM, channels strategy, branding, uprounds etc. He is the investment lead for Obviously.ai (upround from B Capital and Trail Mix Ventures) , Deepaffects (acquired by Ringcentral), Insent (acquired by Zoominfo), Simplicontract ( upround from Picus Capital), Nirmata ( upround from Uncorrelated Ventures, Zee5 Capital, Samsung Next), dotin Inc (acquired by Opensesame), Firsthive (upround from Mela), Essenvia (Upround from BGV), Enact (Upround from Energy Momentum), Glance HQ, Rocketium (Upround from 021 capital), Trainn and Zapscale (Upround from Blume). Prior to Arka Venture Labs, Radhesh had a 18 year long stint in IBM with strong technical, consulting, sales, and business development experience in various divisions of IBM. In his last assignment there, Radhesh headed the Global Entrepreneur Program (IBM startup initiative), for IBM India and South Asia. He exhibited strong leadership in steering the Global Entrepreneur Program from scratch to one of the companies to be reckoned by the Startup ecosystem in India and generating strong revenues for IBM India Cloud business. Has helped many B2B startups scale in their journey by mentoring them and facilitating access to funds and customers. He conceptualized IBM India`s Startup challenge called IBM India Smartcamp and successfully executed the same. Personally led the curation and selection of the Startups for the finals, many of whom got funding either for the first time or were bootstrapped. Some of the startups that were initially identified by Radhesh and scaled very well include Whatfix, Hasura, Medikabazaar, Vymo, SirionLabs, Loginext, Talview, Signzy, Emotix, Getmyparking, Sigtuple, Flutura, Silveredge with a number of these reaching Soonicorn status and one reaching Unicorn status. Radhesh also worked with Large Enterprises in assisting them in identifying next generation innovations through joint Hackathons and Startup challenges. Prior to this role in IBM he was working as a Software Architect for the Software group where he designed Software solutions for Enterprise Clients, ISVs and System Integrators. He created many first of its kind solutions in areas of Application integration, Application Server, Database, Portal, Content Management, Business Intelligence, Security, IoT, Infrastructure Management, Application monitoring and led several key sales wins for IBM.
