João Vasconcelos

João Vasconcelos was born in Leiria in 1975. Executive Director of Startup Lisboa, Association for Innovation and Entrepreneurship Lisbon from 2011 to 2015, was responsible for LIDE Entrepreneurship, association focused on promoting sustainability and social responsibility in business and companies. He was Assistant and Advisor to the Prime Minister’s Office with responsibility in the field of regional and economic affairs from 2005 to 2011. Vice-President of the National Association of Young Entrepreneurs (ANJE) between 1999 and 2005. He managed several family businesses in the tourism and services sectors. Mentor various business acceleration programs such as Startup Pirates, Founder Institute, Lisbon Challenge and Seedcamp.
