Rodrigo Baer

Mr. Rodrigo Baer is a Co-Founder and serves as Managing Partner at Upload Ventures. He built the Early Stage practice for Softbank LatAm Fund and later spun it off to become Upload Ventures. He has been a venture capitalist in Brazil since 2010. He spent 7.5 years at Redpoint eventures, where he led investments in companies like Pismo, Olist, Sami, Pipefy, among others. He also was one of the leaders in creating Cubo. Previously he cofounded Warehouse Investimentos, one of Brazil’s pioneering VC funds. Rodrigo is also highly engaged in ecosystem-building, with initiatives like “VC para Founders” and “Pergunte ao VC”, which help founders understand better the VC ecosystem. Earlier in his career, he was a consultant at McKinsey and Value Partners. He earned a B.A. in Business from FGV in São Paulo and an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management.
