Maurice Bakker

Maurice founded his first company in 1996, which was an architecture and project management company by the name of Waverley. After Maurice transferred to ABC Real Estate mid 2006, where he became CEO at the start of 2009, Waverley discontinued its operations late 2011. Maurice was CEO of ABC Real Estate until mid 2013. It is not clear what Maurice did directly after that, we have not been able to retrieve business data. The accounts of his personal holding Soeka holding BV suggest a period of inactivity. Late 2014, he founded Holland Startup with his business partner Robbert Hanse. Mid 2015 Holland Startup got a third partner, René Roskamp. Maurice founded Startup Utrecht in 2014 with his partner Nils de Witte (Utrecht University). This NGO was institutionalized early 2017, from which moment on Maurice was appointed as chair.
