Will Weisman is the founder and Managing Partner of KittyHawk, an investment firm focused on leading edge seed to late stage pre-IPO companies. The firm is named after Kitty Hawk, North Carolina, where the Wright Brothers embarked on an extraordinary entrepreneurial journey, creating the world’s first airplane and launching a new era in human mobility. KittyHawk supports extraordinary, mission driven entrepreneurs in their quest to build world changing organizations. The firm operates two primary strategies: KittyHawk Frontier focuses on seed stage investments at the frontiers of technology including AI, Quantum, Aerospace, Healthcare, Longevity, Climate, Web 3 and more. Previously Will spent seven years as an Executive Director at Singularity University, a think tank and educational institution that was founded by Ray Kurzweil and Peter Diamandis that focuses on leveraging accelerating technologies to solve the world’s biggest problems. Will helped build Singularity into a global benefit corporation with over 170 chapters in 159 countries, and 300k community members. Will also served as Executive Director of Peter Diamandis’ Abundance360. Among Will's most unusual accomplishments is that he created and popularized the wrap, yes, the burrito like food item, at a 30-unit restaurant chain he founded and sold called World Wrapps. Will has an MBA from Stanford and a BA from the University of California at Santa Barbara. He sits on numerous boards and also regularly speaks on exponential technology trends, venture investing and entrepreneurship. Will is an avid kiteboarder, wing-foiler and ocean swimmer. He resides in Los Angeles.
