Making a decision is never easy, whether it is for a child, a student, a professional, or an entrepreneur. The bigger the risk, the tougher the decision, isn’t it? This is what happened to me a few years ago. Years ago, after graduating and clearing the CPT exam, I continued with the CA course process for the next five years. Then I worked in the corporate sector for around 8 years. However, my dream has always been to do something for my country, especially for the youth, who are the future of our land. After resigning from my job, I founded a startup, JustQuik, in UP (Uttar Pradesh). My business grew steadily over the months, with new customers trusting my services. The entrepreneur in me was delighted and excited at the increasing prospects. However, life had other plans. My business began to go downhill with the advent of demonetization and its aftereffects. Soon, I had no choice but to close the startup to prevent further losses. It was a hard time, and coming to terms with reality wasn’t easy. I felt restless and depressed. My career was at a standstill. But I knew I had to do something. I had to find myself and rearrange my priorities. The thought of my unfulfilled dream clawed at me. That’s when I joined an NLP course in Thiruvananthapuram. I moved from the North to the South temporarily to regain my confidence and do what I always wanted to do. It turned out to be the best decision of my life. The Journey from a Dream to Reality Thirteen years—that’s what it took to convert my dream of helping the youth into reality by establishing TYB10X. This journey is filled with ups and downs, learning, realization, and hard work. As someone who took almost a decade and a half to get to this stage, I want the youth of my country, the next generation, to make the right decision at the right time. Don’t flutter from one choice to another. Don’t waste precious years trying multiple things only to realize that none of them is satisfying. Starting TYB10X is my way to achieve my life’s mission of helping and guiding the Indian youth toward their ambitions. Imagine how wonderful it would feel to know where you want to go in your life. My ambition was to become the bridge that filled the gap between a young mind’s ideas and actions, to steer them on the right path by empowering them to learn proper decision-making. It feels rewarding and humbling to see the results. It boosts my confidence to note that TYB10X has conducted more than 42,000 DMIT tests to scientifically assess young minds and help them understand their talents and abilities. Of course, the journey hasn’t been easy. Starting multiple times from scratch requires grit and dedication. Creating TYB10X gave me renewed hope that I was making a difference in the country. It took countless hours of hard work in the last three years to get to this point. I traveled across all of India for more than 60,000 kilometers to get closer to the youth from different societies. This helped me set up 120 franchises in 14+ states, taking me closer to my goal of empowering 5 million Indian youth in 5 years. I know I’ve just started. The company has been evaluated at Rs. 20 crores in three years. Though my mission is more about India’s youth, I also need to set an example to show them that taking control of their careers has emotional and monetary rewards. The Need for a Scientific Approach and DMIT The DMIT Test helps people make the right decisions based on their abilities, interests, and personalities. This is exactly what I wanted for our confused and overwhelmed youth. TYB10X stands for Train Your Brain 10x and has the tagline "creating the new breed." It is a place where children and youth (or even adults) learn to sync their potential and abilities with their career choices through scientific assessment and counseling. My country has immense potential, but the youth need scientific guidance to make the right decisions when the time comes. DMIT is short for Dermatoglyphics Multiple Intelligences Test, a scientific and advanced test to understand a person’s true potential, traits, abilities, strengths, and weaknesses to find the right career path. It is a test based on genetics, dermatoglyphics, embryology, neuroscience, and pediatric psychology. We conduct the tests for children, students, professionals, and adults. The best part is that the test is not limited to career choices. It helps people understand themselves and improve their interpersonal relationships with others. No more confusion, doubt, uncertainty, or fear. Know who you are to become a better version of yourself. What took me 13 years should take less than a year for the next generation. This drives me to work even harder to spread the importance of using scientific approaches to analyze young minds and empower them to make the right decisions for their future. Dark times sure make us stronger. But that doesn’t mean everyone has to go through lows to achieve success. DMIT is a way to avoid the pitfalls and dangers of choosing the wrong career or getting into a field that doesn’t align with our personalities. When the test is conducted at a young age, it gives parents a clear picture of their children’s abilities. Wouldn't it be wonderful if parents encouraged their children's unconventional career choices? Artistic children don’t have to get into fields that don’t support their creative growth. Our country will see confident and assertive youth who are sure of their careers when the decisions are backed by scientific assessment tests. Psychometric tests are another way to measure memory, intelligence, sensitivity, aptitude, and personality. NLP is a form of psychotherapy that focuses on personal development by taking a pseudoscientific approach. It teaches us to organize our ideas, thoughts, feelings, emotions, etc., and align them with our behavior. My mission is not limited to empowering the youth. I want TYB10X to be a place where capable and efficient counselors are trained. According to my research, there was only one counselor for every 100,000 youth, whereas countries such as the United States had one counselor for every 500 children. Though there has been some rise in numbers, we are still alarmingly at a low point and in dire need of efficient and empathic counselors. With the counselor course, I have a target to train 5000 counselors per year. This will relieve pressure on currently available counselors and enable today's youth to reach out to a trained person in their area. We know how difficult it can be for a child from a remote corner of the country to access mainstream facilities. I want to eliminate this gap and ensure that our youth have certified and capable counselors to help them move in the right direction. I ensure 100% placement for those who join the course. Isn’t that what we want for our society?
