Alberto Gomez

Alberto is co-founder and Managing Partner of Adara Ventures, a European venture capital firm managing over US$ 130 million in capital, dedicated to investments in technology companies targeting the Digital Enterprise. Adara focuses on companies that use capital efficiently and that target global opportunities, seeking to develop products and validate their offering in Europe, in order to then globalize rapidly, often accelerating and exiting in Silicon Valley. Alberto is most active in sectors such as data analytics, cybersecurity, and cloud services & infrastructure, working with entrepreneurs from the early to the growth stage of a company and helping with positioning, strategy, and organizational development. He is passionate about company building and likes to work towards large outcomes. Prior to launching Adara, Alberto was Managing Director of Telefonica’s Venture Capital unit. He has also been an investment banker with Merrill Lynch and Morgan Stanley, and a consultant at McKinsey & Company, and Booz, Allen & Hamilton. Alberto has a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from M.I.T. and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
