Sidney Nakahodo

Sidney N. Nakahodo is a leading authority in space investment and entrepreneurship. He is a General Partner at Seldor Capital and a faculty member of Columbia University. He has spearheaded several initiatives aimed at fostering commercial space. Previously he was a fellow at Singularity University and worked with public policy, private sector development, and carbon finance at the World Bank. Sidney holds a Master of International Affairs from Columbia University’s School of International and Public Affairs (SIPA) and a B. Eng. in Materials Engineering from the University of Sao Paulo (Brazil). He is also an alum of Singularity University’s Global Solutions Program, which he attended on a Google-sponsored scholarship in Silicon Valley, and a graduate of the Kiel Institute for the World Economy’s Advanced Studies Program in Germany. In 2019 he received the “Brazilian Diaspora Award”, granted by the Embassy of Brazil in Washington DC, for his work with innovation, technology, and entrepreneurship.
