Alex Hoppenbrouwers is an Investment Associate, working predominantly within Mercia’s digital portfolio. He sits on the board of FriendlyScore amongst others and is currently studying towards the CFA’s Investment Management certificate. Prior to joining Mercia Alex co-founded Hopps & Woolf, a start-up selling machines that freshly make almond milk. Their machine, the Milk Maker, was featured by Vogue as their top five health products in Christmas 2014. He graduated from the University of Bristol with an upper second class honours degree in Pharmacology and is a 2014-2015 Fellow of the New Entrepreneurs Foundation. Whilst at Bristol he was president of the Entrepreneurs Society, a society with over 1000 members.
