Robert Garber is currently a Partner at 7wire Ventures, where he focuses on investments in healthcare IT, mobile & digital healthcare, and technology-enabled services that empower consumers in today’s changing healthcare eco-system. Previously, Robert served as Managing Director of Stratus Ventures where he focused on early and growth-stage companies leveraging technology to develop compelling products and services. At Stratus, Robert provided executive-level advisory and interim management services to companies seeking growth through strategic, operational and financial initiatives. While at Stratus, Robert served as Chief Executive Officer of National Direct Packaging, a leading B2B/B2C ecommerce company focused on the packaging industry. At NDP, Robert drove business development efforts resulting in an increase of over 300 wholesale customers and led the implementation of a SaaS-based, enterprise resource planning (ERP) system that dramatically reduced inventory, streamlined operations and improved same-day order fulfillment. NDP was acquired in 2013. Until 2013, Robert also served as Managing Director of KB Partners, a $100M technology and healthcare venture fund which he joined in 1997. At KB Partners Robert focused on investments in software, IT infrastructure, healthcare technology, and technology-enabled services. While at KB Partners, Robert lead or participated in the investment of over $44 million. Prior to joining KB Partners, Robert served as Director of Corporate Development for FastWeb.com, a Web-based direct marketing company now owned by Monster, Inc. (Nasdaq: MNST). He joined FastWEB.com after serving as Director of Application Consulting for TechLaw Automation Partners, a technology consultancy focused exclusively on the legal industry. Robert was recruited to TechLaw Automation Partners from Gnossos Software, a software developer of applications for the public affairs, academic, and non-profit markets, where he was a key member of the development team. Robert received a Master of Business Administration degree from the Kellogg Graduate School of Management and a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Pennsylvania.
