Pradyumna Nag

Pradyumna Nag is a Chartered Accountant by qualification and holds a post graduate in international business strategy from IIFT, Delhi. He currently is the Director of Prequate, a management+financial advisory company, which has been featured among the fastest growing private companies in India. Prequate acts and manages a Strategic Assist group on matters ranging from international business to acquisition strategy. Prequate works with medium to large organizations to prepare them for PE/VC and structure complex transactions. At Prequate, Nag heads the Strategy and Investment Banking, Mergers & Acquisitions verticals. His innovative touch has been a ‘specialist view’ in the path to funding and formative post funding years to streamline and growth hack businesses and ‘do more with less’. In the last 3 years, he has been in an advisory capacity for 20+ raises and been part of 150+ valuations and worked with 200+ business models. During this time, he has also operated the Finance & Strategy Office in 20+ companies ranging from Mobile game development to Telecommunication infrastructure. During his earlier stint at KPMG, he has worked with companies such as Infosys, Mindteck, Levi’s, Ariba, Philips, Akshaya Patra and been part of the APAC merger team for Schneider Electric. Tying in his passion for startups, he is also the founder of an accelerator called ‘RedPaint’, in its fourth year now, which has worked with 30 concept stage startups on areas ranging from ideation to business modeling to fund raising. In his personal capacity, he has also been a co-opted member of the Committee on Public Affairs & Government Accounting of the Regional Council of the ICAI (Institute of Chartered Accountants of India) and a Co-Convener for PIOCCI (Chamber of Commerce & Industry for People of Indian Origin across the world) and speaks in forums relating to Venture Capital, Corporate Finance & International Business Strategy. He was also a speaker at the Indonesia Economic Forum 2017 held in Jakarta. An avid speaker, he also speaks and writes on matters relating to PE+VC and Entrepreneurship in public forums, accelerators and select universities.
