Peter Orth

Prior to founding 4DX Ventures, Peter spent more than half a decade at Bridgewater Associates, where he was focused on Global Macro investing strategies, portfolio construction, and understanding Emerging Markets economies. In addition to Bridgewater, he was an investor at a leading NYC-based family office focused on direct investing through Long / Short equity value strategies, an operator at a venture-backed blockchain startup in Palo Alto, and an investment banker at JPMorgan Chase covering consumer, healthcare, and retail companies. His investing skills became what they are by working across a wide range of asset classes and strategies, and he’s developed expertise in building first principles investing frameworks and discovering value in unconventional places.
