Lorenz Hartung is Co-Founder and Managing Director of PEAKZONE. "Entrepreneurial success is most important to us – because we are entrepreneurs ourselves. Following this mantra, we support world-leading family businesses, the „hidden champions“, in succeeding with their startup activities. We guide corporates through the landscape of potential activities, jointly identify a startup strategy and support them to execute it." I have realized more then 80 Startup Corporate Collaborations and co-founded TechFounders Acceleratore befor PEAKZONE. “I strongly believe we have to intensify collaborations between startups and companies to properly introduce disruptive innovations to the mass market. It’s the only way to master the challenges of digitalization.” Apart from his managerial functions at TechFonders, Hartung also acts as founding investor and co-founder of NEXT42, a software company specialized in implementation and creation of applied artificial intelligence. In 2014, he also founded the startup and management consulting company LeVeCo, where he is still engaged today. LeVeCo acts as advisory firm for e.g. the austrian government. Hartung works with CEOs and founders in questions of strategic and operational development as well as venture activity. He studied sport management at TU Munich, followed by a scholarship-financed MBA in Entrepreneurship at HHL - Leipzig Graduate School of Management, UC Berkeley and TU Munich. Starting out as co-founder and employee of various e-business and sports industry startups (a.o. wikando and ePetWorld), Hartung was able to collect valuable entrepreneurial experience. Prior to administering ePetWorld, he led the Executive MBA Innovation & Business Creation at TU Munich to new heights by refining the curriculum and establishing relationships with other leading universities around the world. To this day, Hartung holds lectures as a docent for entrepreneurship and venture capital at the TUM and Stockholm School of Economics. His client list as a speaker on those subjects also features companies like Adidas and Bosch. Hartung is jury member at the Linde Global Innovation Challenge, Bosch PT Innovation Challenge, AWS Jumpstart, Cube Tech Fair, New Mobility World at IAA, Adidas Talent Carousel, Wolves Summit and the Pioneers Festival. He is also supporter and initiator of the city.ai Krakow and Munich. City.ai is an international community for artificial intelligence, connecting over 30 cities worldwide. Lorenz Hartung is an experienced speaker on entrepreneurship, on how to digitize industry and economy as well as on startups generally and their cooperation with established companies.
