Omar Malik

Omar is an entrepreneur and technologist, dedicated to influencing markets that are behind the technology curve by developing innovative digital products and services, with particular interest in the health and retail/fashion verticals. He has been Technical Director of London-based digital agency Collective London, after which founding Half Cyborg in 2010, an award-winning creative technology agency based in London. He has also worked on and alongside several startups in the UK and US via Mercurial Phoenix, a personal startup foundry he founded in 2011. Omar has extensive experience agency-side implementing technical projects ranging from content-managed marketing sites/apps to enterprise-level digital platform overhauls. He is currently Co-founder and CTO of MediQuire, where he works with hospital systems in the US to improve the quality of their care by building on top of their electronic health record (EHR) data, identifying gaps in frontline clinician performance and delivering targeted education where they need it the most.
