Jim Cohen

Jim is a General Partner at Fitz Gate Ventures, an early-stage venture capital firm which is now investing out of its third fund with Rice University as one of its anchor investors. Jim teaches venture capital investing at Princeton University’s Graduate School and also at Rice University's Jones Graduate School of Business. Jim was awarded the 2022 Clio Hall Award from the Princeton University Graduate School in recognition of his class on venture capital. Jim is an honors graduate of Princeton University and received his law degree from New York University School of Law.
