Cayla Weisberg

With a track record for scaling startups and providing a voice for women in tech, Cayla's personal mission is to empower and promote female entrepreneurs across all industries. She is focused on investing in technology enabled business services, data driven products, and disruptive solutions for large markets. Cayla's enthusiasm for entrepreneurship began young, having started a concierge shopping business at 18 years old. At 20, she joined forces with a fashion wholesaler, selling handbag and jewelry lines to specialty stores and winning the business of national retail conglomerates throughout college. Upon graduation, Cayla worked for one of Fortune's "100 Fastest-Growing Companies" at the time, DeVry Inc. After three consecutive years achieving record breaking performance, she was promoted to assistant director. Following this success, Cayla transitioned into the startup ecosystem, leading growth and business development initiatives at two fast-growing Lightbank portfolio companies, oBaz and Snapsheet. Having built a plug-and-play business development roadmap throughout her career, Cayla has used this intel to consult early-stage companies, providing: sales operations strategy, fundraising preparation and modeling tools to successfully pivot. She is currently an advisor to the Global Insurance Accelerator, a mastermind mentor for Ms. Tech and guest-facilitates workshops for incubating entrepreneurs within the WiStem cohort at 1871. As partner and co-founder of InvestHER Ventures, Cayla is combining her talents, enthusiasm, and passion to build a strong portfolio of female-led technology companies.
